Enhanced Loan Prospector Feedback Messages to Reflect October 17 Single-Family Seller/Servicer Guide ChangesNovember 18, 2008

On December 7, to help you identify recent requirement changes at origination, we updated Loan Prospector® with new and revised feedback messages that align with pricing and credit requirement changes announced in our October 17 Single-Family Seller/Servicer Guide (Guide) Bulletin.

The following new and updated feedback messages were effective for all Loan Prospector submissions, including new submissions and pipeline loans, on December 7.

Message Code Feedback Message Purpose
New Feedback Message
LPN ZB An update of the original appraisal is required within 120 days before the effective date of the permanent financing. Addresses new Mortgages for Newly Constructed Homes requirement for an updated appraisal if the effective date is more than 120 days before the effective date of the  permanent financing.
Updated Feedback Message (Updates to text only)
PUR 30 LTV/TLTV/HTLTV ratio exceeds Manufactured Housing limits. Addresses changes made to LTV/TLTV/HTLTV ratio requirements for manufactured homes.
Updated Feedback Messages (Updates to when existing feedback messages are returned)
PUR 25 LTV/TLTV exceeds product limits. Addresses changes made to LTV/TLTV requirements for certain mortgages.
PUR 06 HTLTV exceeds max HELOC limit. Addresses changes made to HTLTV requirements for certain mortgages.
PUR 85 HTLTV exceeds Initial Interest product limits. Addresses changes made to HTLTV requirements for Initial InterestSM mortgages.


The following updated feedback messages reflect the pricing requirement changes announced in our August 8 Guide Bulletin and were effective for all Loan Prospector submissions, including new submissions and pipeline loans, on December 7.

LPR J7 This loan may be subject to an Indicator Score/Loan-To-Value Ratio delivery credit. Addresses changes made in the August 8 Guide Bulletin for submissions subject to Indicator Score/LTV ratio delivery credit.
LPR V7 This loan may be subject to an Indicator Score/Loan-to-Value ratio delivery fee. Addresses changes made in the August 8 Guide Bulletin for submissions subject to Indicator Score/LTV ratio delivery fee.


As a reminder, the above feedback messages are only for guidance and the final delivery fees and credit requirements will be based on the final loan data delivered to Freddie Mac.
